About

The Chiltern Aviation Society was formed in 1968. Initially meeting up above a pub close to South Ruislip, the group moved to the Methodist Church Hall in Ruislip in the early 1980’s where we’ve been based ever since.

Our president is the renowned aviation author Phillip Bartle’s.

Our patron is David F Ogilvy OBE FRAeS.

Keith Hayward is our chairman who has held that position for almost all the time that the society has been in existence.

We are an associated member of Air-Britain.

We meet once a month for aviation lecturers and arrange outings to aviation related sites.
